İnanç “Kayısı nektarı içeriğinde bulunan beta-karotenler, vitamin ve mineraller açısından oldukça zengin bir gıdadır. Vücuttaki toksik maddelerin atılmasına yardımcı olan beta-karotenler, derinin tazelenmesini, canlı ve parlak bir görünüme kavuşmasını sağlar. Ayrıca bir bardak kayısı nektarının içeriğinde yüksek A vitamini bulunmaktadır. Bu oran ile vücudun günlük ihtiyaç duyduğu A vitamininin yaklaşık yarısını (günlük ihtiyaç 5000IU iken 100 gram kayısıda 2700 IU bulunuyor) karşılamaktadır. Kayısı nektarı tüm bunların yanı sıra içerdiği C vitamini ile de bağışıklık sisteminin güçlendirmeye yardımcı olur.
